You’re Famous!

You are such a talented group, and now some of you are famous too!
Congratulations to Corinne Dupont who had her group, Des Petits Bouts de Fils, and her fabulous 365 Challenge Quilt, Mon 365, featured in Quiltmania Issue #158.

Congratulations, also, to Sharon French who had her gorgeous 365 Challenge Quilt, A Labour of Blue Love, included in the Sydney Quilt Show write-up in Quiltmania Issue #159.

If you get kudos at a quilt show, or feature in a magazine, please let me know, so I can share the joy.

April 30 is the last day for the daily emails and the maintenance of the 365 Challenge through this website. Blocks from January will be there a little longer this year – until the end of May, instead of the usual 3 months – to assist you to stay up to date during the change over.

Teachable does everything that I have been trying to achieve with the website and the mailing list, as well as giving us a place to have our little community.

I spend so much time answering your emails about website issues, and maintaining the website, that I’m not getting time to design new quilts! For your benefit and mine, Teachable will now take care of all that, as securely and with faster servers. More time for me; less frustration for you.

The new arrangements mean I can save dozens of hours a week on IT and administrative tasks … meaning I can design more quilts for you!
Hugs,
Kathy

365 Challenge is Moving!

I’ve been working my heart out to make the new website work, but I know many of you still have login and lockout problems. So I am taking the challenge over to a new platform for you.

April is there for you now, and each new block will come out daily, as always. ‘Block-o-clock’ will be a different time, though.

I know that many of you have not been able to download the past blocks. Over the coming weeks, I’ll put up all the blocks back to January, and leave them there until the end of May, giving you heaps of time to catch up. I’ll transfer all the yardage information too, so everything is together.

Happy Easter!
Love,
Kathy

So excited to have my quilt published in Quiltmania Issue #135. Not only that, it graces the cover.

I share this thrill with my fabulous quilter, Terase Munnerley from Cooee Quilting in Yeppoon.

Merry Christmas

Dearest friends,

A huge thank you for your support during 2019! Especially during all the fiddly changing over of the website. I appreciate your patience.

I hope you’ve enjoyed your quilting adventures this year. Thank you for letting me be a part of that; I feel very grateful and privileged.

As a thank you, I’ve put together a pattern for a Christmas ornament I made last year. I made a few to poke into the envelope for family members who were getting a gift voucher to make the gift a little more heart-felt.

Download ‘Merry Christmas 2019’ Felt Heart Ornament as a PDF.

Here’s to a magnificent 2020 … and lots more quilts!
